The mural at the Willy Brandt Comprehensive School is the result of a special collaboration. Artists Sarme One and Appear Offline designed this facade together. The work brings modern art directly into everyday school life.

The Artists from Zagreb

Sarme One has been shaping the graffiti scene in the Croatian capital of Zagreb for over twenty years. He is an expert in large-scale murals and illustrations. Even as a child, he was fascinated by comics and movies. These influences are evident today in his clean lines and bold colors. Appear Offline also works as a typographer and graffiti artist in Croatia. He brings a deep passion for letter design to the project.

Typography and Abstraction

This artwork combines various styles. Appear Offline experiments with the letters of the alphabet. He transforms familiar shapes into abstract forms. In the process, modern graphic design meets classical calligraphy. Sarme One complements this work with his expertise in dynamic forms and expressive typography. The mural in Bergkamen is the first collaborative project by the two artists in a public space. It combines the energy of the street with precise design.
